About Us

​2D Field Services was founded by Don and Dorie Fieldsted in  April 2023 in Williston, North Dakota.  Don brought with him more than a decade of oil-and-gas knowledge and experience as a midstream consultant for Statoil and Equinor.  The operation was small - two pickups, a handful of tools, and work meetings taking place in a home office. With hard work, dedication  and a can-do attitude, the company has grown tremendously, with a diverse and extensive work portfolio, a large fleet of vehicles, equipment, and tools to get the job done, and a staff of 10+ motivated  individuals who strive to tackle whatever the day brings. As of 2026, this growth has allowed us to expand our operations into the Permian Basin, in addition to our work at home in the Bakken. Although we have come a long way, we still remain unwaveringly committed to the core values of accountability, respect, and professionalism upon which our company was founded.
